ImaGYMnation Days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Come embark on an expedition of exploring new cultures, languages, foods, music, dance, customs, animals and so much more as we discover the world around us! Each child will receive a passport to be stamped in all of the 7 continents, numerous countries, and the Ocean's that surround them. Pack your bags and travel with us this summer for an amazing adventure around the globe.
Choose a full week(s) or any given day(s) throughout the summer starting June 29th. Each day has a different movie and/or storybook theme for your 3 to 9 year old child to explore, imagine and discover.
- Half Day Camp (9AM - 1PM or 1PM - 5PM) includes: one (1) hour of instructional gymnastics, daily themes crafts, story-time, outside organized games and more!
- Full Day Camp (9AM - 5PM) includes: all half day camp activities, PLUS... open gym, afternoon movie extravaganza and more!
- Early drop off at 8:30 AM and late pick-up until 5:30 is available.
- Pizza/ Snack Option: New this year, 2 slices of pizza and juice can
be served for lunch, and snacks will be available. Both for an
additional cost.
| Week 1: AFRICA |

| June 29 |
After going through customs, we will be going on the
Congo River for a safari adventure. Ride with us as we explore the
Tropical Rainforest and the species that call it home. |

| June 30 |
Next stop, Egypt and the mysterious pyramids. What is a mummy, what are ancient hieroglyphics? What is the Nile River and why was it such an important factor in the building of the pyramids? |
|
| July 1 |
Find your treasure map and hop on over to the island of Madagascar, known as a refuge for pirates. Grab a mate, as we walk the plank, hunt for buried treasures, compete in pirate tasks and so much more! |

| Week 2: EUROPE |
|
| July 6 |
Be a princess or knight in shining armor today as we have tea with the Queen in England then travel to Greece where the first Olympic Games were played. |
|
| July 7 |
Imagine the view from the top of Eiffel Tower in France and build it with foam blocks. Create your own Louvre Museum masterpiece and then off to Germany for Oktoberfest and all the festivities. |
|
| July 8 |
Pasta, pasta, pasta in Italy, then jump on a bull and its
off to Spain to become a matador in a bullfight. |

| Week 3: ASIA |
|
| July 13 |
In China participate in traditional games and use chopsticks for lunch. Learn about the life cycle of silk worms, the Great Wall, and celebrate the Chinese New Year. |

| July 14 |
Dance your way through India as you learn cultural dances, traditions and customs then its off to the heat of Saudi Arabia and what is lurking in the desert. |

| July 15 |
In Japan learn how to be a rice farmer, encounter mount Fuji, and celebrate Hinamortusi Day. |

| Week 4: NORTH AMERICA |

| July 20 |
From sea to sea discover all the wonders of the United States. Learn a Hula dance in Hawaii, navigate through the Grand Canyon, and the history of our own Boston including the Tea Party! |

| July 21 |
Travel down the famous canal in Panama and learn how it works! Then its off to Mexico to celebrate their many festivals and a swing at the piñata. |

| July 22 |
Mount your horse and learn all about our Northern neighbors in Canada. Learn all about Maple Trees and
syrup. Then be careful not to fall over the Falls! |

| Week 5: OCEANS |

| July 27 |
Learn answers to: How many oceans are there? Why is the ocean blue? What makes it salty? What causes tides and waves, and how does the ocean affect our weather. Then jump in your submarine and dive with us under the sea as we
discover all that swims from the sharks and dolphins to and what lurks in the deep. |

| July 28 |
The coral reef will be examined; did you know they were once alive? Also the creatures that inhabit the sand on the bottom of the ocean. Discover clown fish, sea anemones, jelly fish and more. |

| July 29 |
Do you love the beach and often pick up creatures in your pail? Today we will learn about the water and
little critters that inhabit our beaches. What is a hermit crab and how does he find a new shell? What lives in the shells that we
find when walking in the sand? |

continent? Let’s explore how the inside of a volcano works! Discover what mysteries Antarctica holds! |

Do you think that Antarctica is a desert? How much of the world's fresh water is here? How are icebergs formed and why are they melting? Come today to find out more interesting facts! |

How many different animals do you think live on Antarctica? Can mammals live in the ocean? Bring your

| Week 7: SOUTH AMERICA |

Easter Island is a territory of Chile. There are beautiful statues carved out of volcanic rock. The children of Chile have a favorite past time, it's kite flying! Let's go fly a kite all the way to Brazil! There we will play soccer and discuss the beautiful rainforest! We will talk about recycling and how we can make our world a better place. |

Visit Peru today and become an explorer and dig into archeology! Then jet over to Argentina where the second
largest cat in the Americas lives. Can you guess what it is? Let's look at the wildlife and how different their climate is from ours. |

| Aug. 12 |
Slither your way in today as we discover the fascinating animals living in Venezuela. Then follow the path through the Arabica Trees into Colombia and learn all about coffee how it grows, what you can make with it and be a little creative with the beans. |

G'Day Mate! Welcome to Sydney, the home of the world famous Opera House. Come enjoy the Australian winter which happens during our summer! Did you know you could ski in Australia, downhill ski the Australian Alps. |

Journey on up to Queensland and visit the Australian Zoo and its famous Crocodiles. Do you know what a
Numbat or a Galah is? Then learn how to surf the waters around the Great Barrier Reef. |
|
| Aug. 19 |
Walkabout and explore the Australian Outback, home of Ayers Rock and the Aborigine People. Puddle
jump on down to the Tasmanian Wilderness and visit all 17 of it's National Parks. |
