At what age can my child start dance class?
We offer Dance With Me for ages 18 months- 2 yr olds. Our babies start the beginning of the year accompanied with a parent or guardian into class and as they build confidence parents are excused. Watch as your child becomes independent and confident as the year progresses. Recital is optional at this level. Independent dance classes begin at age 3!
At what age can my child start gymnastics class?
We offer Independent Preschool Gymnastics starting at age 3. Children under 3 are encouraged to participate in our drop in Play Gym Program offered several times throughout the week.
Can my child Try A Class?
Yes, new families are encouraged to schedule a trial class within their appropriate level for a a fee starting at $20.00 (fee will be applied to first months tuition if enrolled in a classes within 7 days)
What is the family membership fee?
As well as covering insurance expenses and processing fees, members receive great discounts on Kaleidoscope summer camp, birthday parties, and special events! Look for parents night out, vacation week activities and more! Family membership fees cover every member of your family for 1 Full Year!
What other events can I participate in as a member of Kaleidoscope?
We encourage our students to participate in all that Kaleidoscope has to offer! We hold school vacation programs, Monday Holiday Day Camps, Summer Camps, both Dance & Gymnastics Competitive Teams, Holiday Parties, Movie Nights, Family Fun Nights, and Preschool Drop In Activities!
How do I pay tuition for Dance Families?
Your first of our standard 9-payment tuition plan is paid when you register. The remaining 8 payments are automatically charged to your credit card on file on the 1st of the month; September through May. If you would prefer to pay by check or cash, you may. Payment must be received prior to the 1st of the month to ensure the credit card on file is not charged. Tuition has been adjusted for holiday closings. There are no tuition adjustments for absences. Yes, some months have 3 weeks, some have 5 weeks and most have 4 weeks. Tuition is non-refundable. Dance schedule is based on 35 weeks (Sept -June) Divided into 9 equal payments.

What is the online system?
With our online system, accessible through our website, you can log in at any time to check class times, make changes to your contact information, register for additional classes or make a payment! If you are a returning family please access account with the email address that we currently have on file. Please contact us if you have any further questions, need to update your email or change your password!
What is the class make up policy?
Kaleidoscope understands that life sometimes happens and you can not always make it to class. We will do our best to schedule make-up classes due to illness, absence, or weather related closures. Please review individual dance and or gymnastics make-up policies. No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
Kaleidoscope generally follows the Wareham school system for weather cancellations. Please check the studio website or Facebook page for last minute weather cancellations.
Why is there a dress code?
Dress code introduces a sense of discipline and unity to the classroom. Teachers can better correct alignment and choreography without clothing distractions. Without dress guidelines, class can turn into a dress up party! We are happy to offer a pro shop where you can purchase your dancewear or buy the perfect leotard for your dancer or gymnast! Ask the front desk for specific dress code requirements for each class.
What is a Kaleidoscope birthday party?
90 minutes of fun! We provide all set up and clean up, 1 instructors, and invitations. Parties are scheduled on Saturdays & Sundays. Members receive discounted rates! See the front desk to schedule you party today!
Can I watch class?
Please enjoy the closed circuit TV class monitors in the waiting room.
Can my child's friend watch dance class?
We hold annual "bring a friend" days at Kaleidoscope. *Dance Classes Only. See calendar for dates.
What is the policy for picking up my child?
Students will not be allowed to wait outside or walk home. For the safety of your child, please inform the front desk of any change in who is picking up and plan to come inside to pick up your child. CHILDREN MUST BE PICKED UP PROMPTLY WHEN THEIR CLASS ENDS.
How do I discontinue a program?
If you know that you will not be returning for the next month, please stop by the front desk and fill out a withdrawal drop form or email a withdrawal to inform our office staff by the 15th. If written notice or email is not received by the 15th of the month you will be responsible for the following month’s tuition, tuition will not be refunded. Verbal withdrawals are not accepted. There are no adjustments or credits given for payments already made when you un- enroll from a class. Thank you for understanding that once a tuition payment is processed – it is non-refundable. Withdrawal notices should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I receive studio information?
All of our correspondence will go through e-mail - make sure we have a correct, frequently monitored address and that you read them! "Like" the Kaleidoscope of Dance and Gymnastics Facebook page. We update that page daily, post weather cancellations and run specials through Facebook only! Please check your child's bags weekly for any paper handouts. If all else fails, call the studio! We are always available to answer questions!
I missed enrolling my child in September, is it too late to enroll?
Enrollment is ALWAYS ongoing in our programs!
