Performance Team Ambassadors
Here at Kaleidoscope of Dance and Gymnastics, it is important to us that we teach our kids to look "beyond the scope", and give back to our community. Acts of service are built in throughout our program, and show up in many various events throughout the year. Our students have put together food drives, organized a holiday giving tree, a studio wide toy drive, performed at nursing homes, elementary schools, high schools, benefits, charity walks and more. Our older kids can often be found volunteering around the studio or at various events. They may be student teaching, helping out staff on camp days, passing out flyers, helping audience members find their seats, and so much more.
Our mission is to teach the whole child, and therefore we focus on much more than just dance and gymnastics. Volunteering shows children more than just kindness, compassion and selflessness, it can give youth a multitude of life skills and lessons as well. Participation in community service will help our children to expand their world view, develop empathy, leadership, and self esteem. It also allows children to build problem-solving, time management, and communication skills while working in collaboration with others.

GI JOE GI JANE - TOY DRIVE
An annual strength competition in which students and siblings are required a bring a brand new toy or $5 donation as an entry fee. The donated toys and funds are distributed to local toys drives in the area, and families in need.

THE GIVING TREE
Families are always excited to pull a tag from this annual tree, and shop for a child of a specific age and gender. The gifts are then wrapped by students and staff, and then delivered in time for the holidays!

HOLIDAY NURSING HOME PERFORMANCE
Our students get so excited to spread some holiday cheer at local nursing homes during the holiday season.
